![]() The character customizer is located in Arkham Asylum, and if you 100% complete the game, you can build up the character Huntress.There's even a suit changer in the Batcave if you want to mess around with the different suits.Both the Batcave and Arkham Asylum hubs, while small, are fun to wander around in and look at.The character designs in this game look great, with most of the villains being based off their counterparts from Batman: The Animated Series or the Lego Batman sets that were out at the time of the game's release.The controls in this game are great, the game even manages to make the Wii controls work.Even the vehicle missions have interesting backgrounds to look at."Zoo's Company" is a very interesting and unique-looking level."Little Fun At The Big Top" and "A Surprise For The Commissioner" have these really creepy carnival designs and it almost makes you feel unnerved just playing these levels."Under The City" and "A Daring Rescue" both have very interesting designs for the sewers, and both levels are a blast to play."The Joker's Home Turf" is also a really great mission, being set in a warehouse of sorts. ![]() "The Joker's Masterpiece" is set in an art museum, which is a very interesting and unique place for a level."You Can Bank On Batman", while looking a bit bland, is a great kickoff to the game and has a lot of nostalgia value."There She Goes Again" and "Stealing The Show" both show off the impossible scale of Gotham, with the gaps in between buildings looking like a bottomless pit."A Poisonous Appointment" and "Green Fingers", where you're in this garden and you just half-expect the dead to rise up out of the ground when you destroy the plants and bushes."The Lure of The Night", which looks somewhat similar to "In The Dark Knight"."In The Dark Knight" might as well be the best mission in the game."An Icy Reception" and "On The Rocks", in which an ice cream factory is presented as this cavernous death trap.And there's just a lot of great levels in this game. A lot of the backgrounds and level designs look creepy but cool, especially in levels like "In The Dark Knight" looking very dirty, grimy, and scummy, which is not something you see too much in Lego games.It's surprisingly dark for a Lego game, with the ambience in levels like "Little Fun At The Big Top", "A Surprise For The Commissioner" and the Arkham Asylum hub sounding very creepy and disturbing.Good graphics like Lego Indiana Jones had.Chapter 3 "The Joker's Return" is loosely based off Batman (1989).Chapter 2 "Power Crazed Penguin" is loosely based off Batman Returns.Chapter 1 "The Riddler's Revenge" is loosely based off Batman Forever and Batman & Robin.Speaking of which, each of the chapters in the hero and villain story are loosely based on the first four Batman movies.In fact, a lot of it is Danny Elfman's from the 1989 Batman movie in addition to some music from Batman Returns. You can either play as a hero or a villain, but you must finish any episode in a hero's story before you get a villain's story.On top of that, you can get Batgirl, Classic Catwoman and other characters in this game.There's some extra content to purchase including more characters and extras.Features almost all well-known Batman characters.The three episodes are great, as well as the villain side.
